How can I post my photographs on JerisalemShots?
Anyone can send us photographs to be posted on the web site.
The only condition we require: you must be the creator of these photographs or if you send them on someone’s behalf the author’s permission must be granted prior to sending. |

Web site editors are responsible for choosing of the daily favorite photograph. You can find their list on the main page |
What was the very first photograph posted on the web site?
The first photograph we posted on JerusalemShots is the same photograph that we used for design of our web site. It appears on the top of every page.

Can I use photographs from Jerusalem Shots for design of my own web site/project?
Any use of our photographs must be discussed with web site administrator.
JerusalemShots contains many photographs submitted by other independent photographers. Respecting copyright laws we cannot give permission for using their images, but we can help you to contact other authors via e-mail.
Photographs signed as “RomKri” or “Jshots” or “Pes & Lev” or “SOBO Dan” belong web site administrators or friends that grant their permission on using their images with the following conditions:
Image must not be distorted, compressed, or trimmed.
Link to JerusalemShots home page (www.JerusalemShots.com) must appear under each photograph.

Are there any requirements to format/quality of submitted photographs?
There are 3 main requirements:
1. All photographs must carry jpg format.
2.The width of the photographs must be 479 pixels (the photograph will be compressed automatically on the web site if required).
3.Size of the photographs should not be more than 120 KB (or 122880 Bytes).
4.Following our web site design idea we will remove frames and borders from all photographs if required

How can I share my knowledge of Jerusalem with web site’s visitors?
You can send us descriptions of places/events related to specific photographs, and we will post them after they reviewed and approved by our editors.
You can also create you own virtual tour of Jerisalem using “E-tour” option, or participate in our Forum.
